Author Talks / Q&A / In-conversation / Panels
I love engaging with readers in whatever format that may be. Live events are my preference—they just land differently and I think we all bounce off each other’s warmth and humour.
I’ve spoken at a wide range of events: libraries, bookshops, charity events, writers groups, nursing homes, U3A, high school groups etc.
I’m open to doing online chats too!
Workshops
I’m happy to design workshops around your needs. My general areas of interest are obviously all things writing, mainly in the genre of commercial fiction and women-centred narratives. The Business of Getting Published and Writing a Killer Opening Chapter are popular workshops I run for aspiring writers. More information here.
Book Clubs
Book clubs are always a thrill for me because I adore vibrant discussions and love to be challenged! Feel free to contact me if your book club is reading one of my books and we can work out a way to chat about it. Note, I don’t charge for book club visits unless there is significant travel or accommodation involved.
Fees
My fees are in line with the Australian Society of Authors Rates of Pay (Public Appearances). Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss options.
